Healing From The Past

Intimate Companionship

Healing, new life old life

Healing From The Past

Bishop Thomas Dexter Jakes teaches that intimacy is "in-to-me-see" or look inside of me. Perhaps, you or someone you know is having issues with intimate companionship, let these scriptures and prayer guide you. Many mates bring sexual baggage into their marriage. Perhaps at one time you were molested or promiscuous or were taught that intimacy was a bad thing. Whatever your past hurts, bring them to the Lord and look for healing.

1 Samuel 16:7

But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.

Sar Shalom, Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6); we thank You with a spirit of oneness and ask that our past be forgiven. We praise You for the intimacy what we have now will be greater than what we have had in the past. We declare manifold blessings for our companionship so that we may exemplify what You have put together. This we pray with an anointing, in the name of Jesus Christ our Savior, Amen.
