When Seeking Peace?

In Matthew 11:29, the words "learn of me" ring loudly as a prerequisite for grabbing the yoke of Jesus. We would strongly suggest that understanding the gravity of "Yoke" or the task is essential to the expression of putting Faith in action. We often put the cart before the horse proverbially speaking but the factor of concern for Peace is learning. Jesus is meek and laid back in heart, He's not loud and rambunctious, He's calm, laid back and collected. When Peace is like a river it's the analogy of the river after a storm but rather the reflection of the river under normal circumstances.

Reading John 14:23, Jesus directs us to understand that if we love Him, then we engage with Father and the Son. Peace is not always immediate but will make it's presence know before the end. In John 15:10 leads us deeper into the connection of peace because keeping His commandments helps us abide in the presence of the Lord.

“Where there is love there is courage, where there is courage there is peace, where there is peace there is God. And when you have God, you have everything.” ― Louise Penny, The Brutal Telling

Matthew 11:29

Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

Abba Father, we thank You for Your measure of obedience and submission to the Holy Spirit. We praise You for the example of meekness and humbleness in Jesus. We decree and declare blessings upon those who seek Peace and learn of You through Your Son, so that; challenges of life prepare us for the education of the Kingdom of God. Now, for the Kingdom and the Glory of God, we petition, with anointing in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior, Amen.
