Don't Spare the Rod

Think it, Speak It, Act It series

Don't Spare The Rod The thought of discipline from my perspective includes corral punishment, my mom and dad got it, I got it, my children got it and their children get it. The reference we all received was pointed at Proverbs 13:24 and the premise is Love. God's Love requires correction, reproof, and instruction (2 Timothy 3:16) without it we can't prove ourselves to God. Don't fear correction but embrace it for those who give are ordained by God and will be responsible to Him for lack of discipline.

Proverbs 13:24 He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes.

The LORD Mighty In Battle (Psalm 24:8), we have embraced the correction of our parents and understand that it is for our good. What shall we say of these things, we shall praise You for the love surrendered by Jesus Your Son. We decree and declare blessings for the wisdom of those who love us to correct us and to guide us, so that as we apply theses lessons of life that the Love of Christ may abound. For the sake of the Kingdom we pray, with an anointing in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.
