Family Prayer Series - Prayers for Teens
T is for Trust
We ask God not only to bring our children to saving faith, but also to mature them in that faith. We Pray that they would trust the LORD with all their hearts and not lean on their own understanding. We pray that we, as a parents, would build and maintain their trust, so that they will always feel comfortable confiding in us. Pray that our teens would prove themselves worthy of the trust others place in them.
Ephesians 2:8-9
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
Elohim Ozer Li, God My Helper (Psalm 54:4); we give thanks for our teen children finding grace in salvation by faith. We praise you for allowing them to mature in their trust in You as it is a gift of God. We are blessed that they trust in the Lord with all their hearts and lean not to their own understanding. This we pray with an anointing, in the name of Jesus Christ our Savior, Amen.
