Encouragement In Christ, Pt. 2
Our state of mind can reflect and affect how we view and treat each other. Let us be humble and see ourselves as better than ourselves. Let us not be so concerned with our own affairs and we are the well being of others. Let the mindset of Jesus who being sent of God was equal with God but live in the form of man and acted as a servant. He though He was God gave Himself for us on the cross that we might live.
Philippians 2:3-8
Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others. Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
Spirit of the Almighty and the Humble, we exalt Thee with unmerited thanks for a state of mind that esteems others more than ourselves. We praise You not through strife or vainglory but with a lowliness of mind, not looking on ourselves but on the behalf of others. We declare Holy blessings upon the all those take of cross of Christ, so that their suffering may glorify Your Holy Name. This we pray with an anointing in the name of Jesus Christ our Savior. Amen.
