2) Stop Doing The Bad Thing
Thank God you made a confession, you told God what you did and now it's time to stop the behavior. If you keep doing the same thing expecting a different result you will find insanity. Covering your bad decision with denial will only allow you the comfort of thinking it's ok to do it again, it will take deliberate intention to change. Be deliberate in doing the Right Thing!
Proverbs 28:13
He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.
Merciful Lord, we thank you for defining moment that we knew change had to come. We praise your not only for confessing our sins but for changing our hearts to a position of humbleness. We declare and decree blessings recovery for the morally bad decisions we have made, so that as we confess our sins we can also turn from our wicked ways and seek His face in the forgiveness of our sin. This we pray, with an anointing in the name of Jesus Christ our Savior; Amen.
