He Fasted
Being led of the Spirit is critical to the success of our sacrifice because we follow an obedient Lord who followed the Spirit of God in all that He did. Will you follow, Jesus as He followed God through His Spirit? Can you be led to obedience 40 days and 40 nights in this season of Lent. Jesus was tempted like we are tempted today, yesterday and even tomorrow and angels ministered to Him; and so even, angels will minister to us who are following His example and doing His Will. Will you in prison follow Him? Prison can be a place, a state of mind, a disposition, the question, bound, incarcerated, institutionalized or free is will You submit to Gospel that the Kingdom of God is at hand, if so repent and believe.
Mark 1:12-15
And immediately the spirit driveth him into the wilderness. And he was there in the wilderness forty days, tempted of Satan; and was with the wild beasts; and the angels ministered unto him. Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.
God Our Refuge (Psalm 62:8), allow Your Sacred Spirit to lead us into the places of our sacrifice, for this we say thank You. For the temptations that are common to all men, and the ministering angels we praise You. We declare and decree blessings on all who follow Your Holy Spirit even as Christ did for our sakes, so that as we follow Him we will obey Your will and minister the Gospel of Jesus Christ. For the sake of the Kingdom we pray, with an anointing in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.
