I Made A Vow

Think it, Speak It, Act It series

I Made A Vow To break a vow or to delay it in any way makes us look foolish in the eyes of God. We are not in a position to play tricks on God nor ourselves. Vow are sacred and must be considered before we make them. It is pretentious to make a vow and not to keep it. God knows our hearts, our intent and our accounts before we feel so inclined or to act without consideration, know that it is treachery to make a vow unto the Lord and take it back! What happens is that we set up an expectation in the Kingdom of God that will not happen because of our lack of deferment. God is not mocked. Give what you vow without hesitation or do what you promised so the Kingdom of God will prosper.

Ecclesiastes 5:4 When thou vowest a vow unto God, defer not to pay it; for he hath no pleasure in fools: pay that which thou hast vowed.

Master Over All (Deuteronomy 3:24), we thank You for Your mighty love, how that You have inspired us to make vows for the Kingdom of God. We praise You for temperance and wisdom in making vows to for the Kingdom of God. We declare and decree blessings upon the faithful who do not hesitate to pay their vows, so that plans for the Kingdom are not hindered. Now, for the sake of the Kingdom we pray, with an anointing in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.
