Think it, Speak It, Act It series
Our True Brother
The thought of brotherhood in this verse is expanded beyond flesh and blood and refers to a person who will stick with you through thick and thin. Our best example of a true friend is Jesus Christ, He first loved us and promised never to leave us although we leave Him. He was born for adversity and shows us that He loves us at all times. He is there in good weather and the worst of storms. He is my friend and my bother all the time.
A friend loveth at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.
Jehovah Magen, The LORD my Shield (Deuteronomy 33:29); for the ferly, awesome relationship we share with You, we thank You. When everyone else leaves us or stops walking by our side You are there and for this we praise You. We declare and decree blessings upon those call You brother and understand that You were born for us, so that we may share our relationship with others who need Your love and unwavering devotion. Now, for the sake of the Kingdom we petition, with an anointing in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.
