Avoid A Froward Heart

Think it, Speak It, Act It series

Avoid A Froward Heart The book of Proverbs is full of instruction and defines a virtuous lifestyle. The emphasis of this scripture is recognizing the type of lifestyle that will lead you to destruction. Froward means contrary, a difficult to work with heart. In biblical terms the heart is the seat of emotions, our moral center and a perverse tongue is a whip with metal pieces that loves mischief. The combination is diabolical, however; there are people with these characteristics living today. Look for opportunities of kindness and ways to speak life unto peoples hearts, that's what Jesus would do.

Proverbs 17:20

He that hath a froward heart findeth no good: and he that hath a perverse tongue falleth into mischief.

El Bethel, The God of the House of God (Genesis 35:7); for giving us guidance to avoid a froward heart, we continue to thank You. In the instructions of Your moral compass we praise You for deliverance from a perverse tongue that falls into mischief. We decree and declare blessings upon those who hear and obey Your Word, so that the hearts and tongues of righteous people will fill the wanting hearts of those who have lost hope. Now, for the sake of the Kingdom we petition, with an anointing in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.
