Truth Challenges Worship
The true understanding of worship has to be grounded in Truth. Jesus is the Truth personified, He lived Truth, became Truth for the world and is the Living Truth there is no other Truth beside Him. A song writer (VaShawn Mitchell and recorded by Bishop Larry Trotter) penned these words: You don't know my story | All the things that I've been through | You can't feel my pain | What I had to go through to get here |You'll never understand my praise | Dont try to figure it out | Chorus: Because my worship, my worship is for real. These lyrics speak about the challenges of True Worship, worship that exudes out of Truth. Worship when pressured by life, all the things that you go through, you'll will never understand my praise, because my worship is for real. Truth challenges my worship and my worship is for real.
John 4:23-24
But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
Ezekiel 18:20
Yet say ye, Why? doth not the son bear the iniquity of the father? When the son hath done that which is lawful and right, and hath kept all my statutes, and hath done them, he shall surely live. The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.
Adonai, Master Over All (Deuteronomy 3:24); for the challenges of Worship by Truth we come in a spirit of oneness to give You thanks. For the relief of iniquity by True Worship we lawfully and righteously seek Your Grace and Mercy we give You praise. We decree and declare blessings upon those who have stood the challenge of Truth in our worship, for our worship is for real, so that those who come into the Kingdom of God will hear the testimony of redeemed will and be saved. Now, for the sake of the Kingdom and for the Glory of God, we petition, with an anointing in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.
