Methods to Meditate on God’s Word

Biblical LifeHacks series

Methods to Meditate on God’s Word Meditation – The idea of meditation has been distorted by mentalist and mystictics, but the real understanding of meditation is hidden in the motivation of thinking. Paul tells us to think on things, and Joshua is giving instruction to do exactly that, think-- meditate on God's Word.

When you think about God's Word day and night, He will reveal things that we commonly miss because we spend time with Him and He blesses us with good success.

The hack: Meditate on God's Word everyday and everynight, the reward is the blessings that you will find for the effort.

Joshua 1:8

This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

The LORD the Judge, Jehovah Hashopet (Judges 11:27); we thank You for the mindset to think and meditate. We praise You for the gifts that we receive for the efforts we make with our thoughts on the Word. We declare and decree blessings upon those who meditate and think on the Word, so that by the blessings of the Holy Spirit we who think about what You have said to us will prosper. Now, for the sake of the Kingdom and for the Glory of God, we petition, with an anointing in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.
