Traits of a Sanctified Imagination
“A redeemed imagination is a righteous imagination,” says Gene Veith and Matthew P. Ristuccia.
Our imagination, the things that we vision, fails us if they do not lead us to live more righteously, that is, to live in obedience to God’s commands. Proverbs 14:34, Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.
The hack: training our thoughts to the things that Glorify God leads to redemption and a righteous imagination.
Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established.
Wonderful Counselor, Peleh Yo’etz (Isaiah 9:6); we thank You for the righteousness of our thoughts. We praise You for our imaginations focused on a redeeming love. We decree and declare blessings upon those who commit their thoughts unto the Lord, so that our imaginations will be established in Holiness. Now, for the sake of the Kingdom and for the Glory of God, we petition, with an anointing in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.
