Believe On Jesus Christ

Believe On Jesus Christ

In this highlighted passage of scripture, we lift from the testimony of Paul and Silas who were imprisoned and the gates of the prison were shaken open by a move of God. The jailer begged to know how he could save his mortal soul and be saved from the certainty of death, but Paul and Silas answered the question with eternal conviction, believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, you and your household will be saved.

Many things could be unpacked here, but our emphasis will be on the action of belief. The jailer was given the opportunity to accept Jesus Christ as his Savior, his Lord, and Master in the eternal and the blessing would not be extended to just him, but his entire household. When you affect the head, the body will follow. Family structure is and was very important then and now but today we get distracted by things that pull us away from the Truth.

Believe with humble obedience in the one we call the Master and Savior of our lives, give Him all without restriction, without regard to self-worth or selfish desires. He gave His life for you and yours. What will you see fit to surrender to Him? If you want salvation, then put the action of belief into practice and leave the rest behind.

Acts 16:31

And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

The Spirit of God, Ruach Elohim (1 Samuel 10:10); we thank You for the testimony of Paul and Silas who suffered in prison and used their Faith for the sake of the Kingdom. We praise You for the action of belief and the cause for which we extend ourselves beyond the means of convenience. We decree and declare blessings upon those who study Your Word and submit to the call, so that; the Glory of Your sacrifice will be made known unto all the world. Now, for the sake of the Kingdom and the Glory of God, we petition, with anointing in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior, Amen.
