The Fight of Faith

Faith, The Lifestyle of Saints

fight of faith

The Fight of Faith Does your Faith fight with your lifestyle? Do you find yourself at war with feelings that you have for things shouldn't be a problem but fall short of your spiritual expectation? Are you all churched out? Have you confused your church life with your relationship with Christ? Have you read Galatians 2:20 but still don't understand it?

If you don't have an internal struggle, then you should check your spiritual thermometer you may be lukewarm. Faith is a result of the battle between the Human Factor and the Spirit of God in man. They don't mix, and there is no compromising with what God wants and what we desire in the flesh. If the old man in us can lead, then we forfeit the sacrifice of Jesus (2 Corinthians 5:17).

All Christians, every last one of us, struggle with ourselves in the contest of the spirit, consider Romans 7:14-25 and in verse 24 "O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?" and Ephesians 2:8-9, Romans 7:23 and 1 John 1:8. When we are in a struggle, we are in a fight, and this fight is over Faith- in what will we believe? We find encouragement in 1 Corinthians 10:13 and John 16:33, to know whose fight it is, and to put the battle into the hands of Jesus Christ.

1 Timothy 6:12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.

Master Over All, Adonai (Deuteronomy 3:24); we thank You for the privilege of deciding to be hot or cold but never lukewarm. We praise You for the lifestyle that makes eternally secure. We decree and declare blessings upon those who resist the nature of Self-inflected Nonsense, so that; by the sacrifice of Jesus will we put the fight into the hands of our Savior. Now, for the sake of the Kingdom and the Glory of God, we petition, with anointing in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior, Amen.
