Developing Spiritual Power to Subdue -3

Power to subdue is not authority to abuse. The accountability of dominion or having the power to rule is subjective to the jurisdiction of God who has given all power to Jesus, His son (Matthew 28:18, Ephesians 1:20-21). In the temptation of Christ, Satan attempted to get Jesus to abuse His power and authority by calling 10,000 angels (Matthew 26:53).

Accountability is an action that requires us to verify that what we are doing is what was intended by God through the sanction of Jesus. Here are seven truths about accountability: 1- Accountability starts with you. 2- You are accountable. 3- Accountability is not a one-time thing. 4- Accountability applies to all. 5- Accountability cannot be delegated. 6- Accountability is the difference between success and failure. 7- You have to hold people accountable. (7 Truths About Accountability That You Need To Know)

The primary consideration of our performance in Christianity is the substrate of spiritual power with the filter of accountability. We must put ourselves in a position of accountability by being placed in places that sponsor spiritual verification, mainly a Bible-teaching church. I strongly suggest a church where they embrace Pentecostal teaching, but anywhere where they teach more they preach because we need balance. Power is not always a show of strength, but it is woven with wisdom. Who gave us the Power? The Godhead (Genesis 1:28). Who are we accountable too? See part 4.

Exodus 7:11-12

Then Pharaoh also called the wise men and the sorcerers: now the magicians of Egypt, they also did in like manner with their enchantments. For they cast down every man his rod, and they became serpents: but Aaron's rod swallowed up their rods.

The LORD Mighty In Battle, Jehovah Gibbor Milchamah (Psalm 24:8), we thank You for the understanding that we as the followers of Christ are not to abuse our power to subdue but to walk in righteousness. We praise You for our accountability to You but each other. We decree and declare blessings upon those who see the action of accountability as a decision to hold a standard, so that; with the Your guidance, we grow in Your Power and use it wisely. Now, for the Kingdom and the Glory of God, we petition, with anointing in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior, Amen.
