Praying In Authority With the Name of God series
Jehovah-Shalom “The God of peace.” We are meant to know the fullness of God’s perfect peace, or His “shalom.” God’s peace surpasses understanding and sustains us even through difficult times. It is the product of fully being what we were created to be.
Judges 6:22-24 And when Gideon perceived that he was an angel of the Lord, Gideon said, Alas, O Lord God! for because I have seen an angel of the Lord face to face. And the Lord said unto him, Peace be unto thee; fear not: thou shalt not die. Then Gideon built an altar there unto the Lord, and called it Jehovahshalom: unto this day it is yet in Ophrah of the Abiezrites.
(Say) Jehovah-Shalom, our God of peace, in a oneness of the Spirit we have come to know your fullness and perfect peace and for this we thank you. In your peace which surpasses understanding and sustains us in our hard time and our good times for this we praise you. In the fullness of your Peace we are strong to the pulling down of strongholds and for this we are blessed. This we pray with an anointing, in the name of Jesus Christ our Savior, Amen.
