Pleasure in Companionship
A common struggle for mates is learning to truly enjoy and surrender to the experience and sensations of love. God made us to be companions and partners to share pleasure in the context of marriage. He doesn’t want you to just endure pleasure with your mate, but to discover your mate in an intimate way, to enjoy the physical contact, to fully embrace the experience of love.
Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up. Again, if two lie together, then they have heat: but how can one be warm alone? And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken.
Jehovah El Emeth, LORD God of Truth (Psalm 31:5); we thank you making the two of us as one. We praise you for the good reward of our labour and the experience of pleasure that we share as companions. We declare blessings for those who struggle with companionship issue, for in You there is an answer that prevail as a threefold cord. This we pray with an anointing, in the name of Jesus Christ our Savior, Amen.
