Motivation To Change

Biblical LifeHacks series

Motivation To Change Character Formation – Bringing things into a design can be a rigorous task, as the sculptor or the stone cutter who shapes raw diamonds, the wrong cut can destroy the whole thing in seconds but when you are in Christ it takes the husbandman to develop what we have lived in our own lives to become what we shall become.

Christ is our husbandman because He shapes lives and gives us opportunity to find motivation, incentive to seek those things which are in Heaven in the presence of God. The scripture suggest that we "set our affection" on things that are of God and not of the earth because what is of God is eternal and things on the earth are temporary. Motivation is understanding that the Christ in us is alive and will appear with Him as we do His will on this earth.

The hack: bury your carnal feelings for the immortal blessings of Jesus Christ and allow God to get the Glory for the everyday things that happen to and around us.

Colossians 3:4

If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

Jehovah Tsaba, LORD of Hosts (1 Samuel 17:45); in a spirit of oneness we come to give thanks to You, O Lord for the risen King our Emanuel. We stand in the assembly of the most high and shout the victory with praise, for You have shown us the affections of our hearts. We declare and decree blessings upon those who desire to be motivated for formation in their character, so that the Husbandman of our life would mold us, shape us, and form us into the victory which is in Christ Jesus. Now, for the sake of the Kingdom and for the Glory of God, we petition, with an anointing in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.
