Through Faith, The Promise

This is a celebration of the infamous story of Sarah the wife of Abraham as recorded in Genesis 18, but it started in Genesis 12:2-3, it is an excellent example of faith. 25 years of promise for a man who had a wife who couldn't conceive, at least not until she was considered too old.

Although this verse focuses on Sarah, it's the promise that made her famous. God told Abraham that he would be the father of many, to be the progenitor of a great nation, but in order for that to happen, Sarah had to have a baby.

The writer of Hebrews records the overview of this infamous story and emphasizes the belief of Sarah and how she received strength to conceive and deliver a promise in a time that we would consider beyond childbearing years, but God.

Regardless of how much time it takes, we must hold to God's promises and have Faith, the Faith of Jesus Christ to see the establishment of His Glory. He is faithful, who has promised us and we must wait on the Lord and be of good courage.

Hebrews 11:11

Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised.

The LORD My Rock, Jehovah Sal’I (Psalm 18:2); we thank You for the courage and testimony of Sarah the wife of Abraham. We praise You for the evidence of Faith and how it has evolved and brought greatness across this world for our salvation. We decree and declare blessings upon those who believe and understand the Promise, so that; as the Lord has spoken so shall it be and we shall receive strength to bring increase to the Kingdom of God. Now, for the sake of the Kingdom and for the Glory of God, we petition, with an anointing in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior, Amen.
