Troubled Times (COVID-19 pandemic series)
Jesus has indeed overcome the world the day he gave His life for all on the cross. Take peace and be encouraged, knowing it is Him who is mighty to save. He will not leave you or forsake you.
Can He Give You Rest?
Psalm 23:2-4
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou [art] with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
The Psalmist David wrote a song about God's benevolence, which now comes through Jesus, The Christ. David wanted to emphasize God's omnipresence and His sovereignty to direct us into places and situations where we can find the leading of the Shepherd and His sheep. If we as His sheep follow His direction, we will not only find rest but protection in His green pastures. 1 Corinthians 10:12-13, God is faithful, our decision to follow Him is our volition, our choice.
El Shaddai, Almighty God - Genesis 17:1, 2; we bow down in submission to Your Will and lift thanksgiving. In a spirit of oneness, we bend down to still waters where You restore our soul, and we praise You. We decree and declare the blessing (the indwelling of the Holy Spirit) upon those who follow the paths of righteousness for His namesake, so that; we who walk in through the valley of the shadow of death will fear no evil. Now, for the Kingdom and Glory of God, we petition, with anointing, in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior, Amen.
