Troubled Times (COVID-19 pandemic series)
Through faith in Christ, we are given a spirit of power, love, and discipline, and for that reason, we have nothing to fear. We can hold on to his promises and be confident that he’ll see us through even the darkest days.
Can You Abide In The Secret Place?
Psalm 91:1-2
He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
Most of us would like a breviloquent answer, a short and quick response to the question, “can we abide in the secret place of the Most High”? When you think about staying in the shadow of the Almighty, it strikes a type of intersectionality that vibrates in social Christianity. We are human and man, but we suffer from equality within hegemonies (refining the definition of dominance with our ethnic groups) formally known as racism. If God is good for you, then He must be suitable for all of us. God does not see us as separate but as His children. Will trusting in Him, answer the issue of reconciliation?
Witness- Romans 8:16; Hebrews 2:4; 10:15. The Holy Spirit is called “witness” because He verifies and bears witness to the fact that we all are children of God, that God sent Jesus and the disciples who performed miracles, and that the books of the Bible are divinely inspired, which we are thankful. We praise You, Lord, for the secret place where under your shadow, we find deliverance. We declare and decree the blessing (the indwelling of the Holy Spirit) upon those found in the secret place, so that; the lost can find refuge and a fortress in their salvation. Now, for the Kingdom and Glory of God, we petition, with anointing, in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior, Amen.
