Fear Not Because God is My Salvation

Troubled Times (COVID-19 pandemic series)

The Hope of A Future Bible Verses

There are times in life that it feels like the future looks grim. These are significant passages on Hope to read from the Old Testament to lift you up and encouraged you today.

Fear Not Because God is My Salvation

Psalm 27: 1-3

The LORD [is] my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD [is] the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? When the wicked, [even] mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell. Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this [will] I [be] confident.

The secret to overcoming fear is to know in whom your salvation lies. Fear can not exist where there is salvation. Salvation is freedom from fear, and in God, there is no fear. That way, we can process Hope. Hope rest in the blossom of the Lord and where He lights the way we find strength. The disadvantage of salvation without God, it is not real.

Comforter / Counselor / Advocate: (Isaiah 11:2; John 14:16; 15:26; 16:7) All three words are translations of the Greek parakletos, from which we get “Paraclete,” another name for the Holy Spirit. The Spirit “bears witness” with our spirits that we belong to God and thereby assures us of salvation, and for this, we give Him thanks. For the definition of salvation, we give Him praise. We decree and declare blessing (the indwelling of the Holy Spirit) upon those who seek salvation in You, so that; the building of the Kingdom will be filled with believers. Now, for the Kingdom and Glory of God, we petition, with anointing, in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior, Amen.
