Find The Truth, The Invitation (08)

Spiritual and Emotional Healing

Sin, abuse, neglect, rejection, betrayal all cause significant emotional and spiritual pain that hurt just as physical pain does. God, our Great Physician, can ultimately heal our broken hearts and bind our wounds, healing and making us whole. Spiritual and emotional healing is often a process with steps that we need to put action behind. Use these scriptures to guide your heart and mind toward full recovery.

Find The Truth, The Invitation (08)

Matthew 11:25-30

At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes. Even so, Father: for so it seemed good in thy sight. All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him. Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

The latter part of this scripture reveals the heart of Jesus; He says that He is meek and lowly. He has a servant's heart. As we discovered in taking His yoke, He is not trying to burden us; in fact, His act is selfless (1 Corinthians 13:4-7), He guides us with compassion and will not discourage us in our weakness. With lowly heart, He reaches us at whatever level we are on and supplies our needs. Who can teach or treat us better than Jesus?

Jehovah Gibbor Milchamah, The LORD Mighty In Battle - Psalm 24:8; we thank You Mighty God in Battle. We praise You for allowing us to quantify within You our meekness and lowly statue. We decree and declare the blessing (the indwelling of the Holy Spirit) upon those who seek You because You are meek and lowly, so that; as our Teacher, You engage us as co-heirs. Now, for the Kingdom and Glory of God, we petition, with anointing, in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior, Amen.
