Find The Truth, The Invitation (11)

Matthew 11:25-30

At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes. Even so, Father: for so it seemed good in thy sight. All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him. Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

Jesus states that His yoke is easy; He offers His yoke twice (Matthew 11:29, 30), first as an alternative to what we carry by nature the innate sin inherited from Adam & Eve. A yoke (Galatians 5:18) is a metaphorical device of spiritual burden. In the second mention, the yoke is joined with a description, an adjective- easy. Easy indicates the difficulty level; easy means that it was not complicated or complex; easy is the exact opposite of the type of yoke we are born with. His yoke (Galatians 5:1) relates to our heritage from creation. Before the fall, we had it easy. Adam and Eve got caught up in self-inflected nonsense and changed everything (Genesis 3). Do you believe the yoke of Jesus is easy?

Jehovah El Elohim, The LORD God of gods, the LORD, mighty, powerful, strong One overall - Joshua 22:22; we thank You for being to us the Lord God of gods. We praise You for the ease of Your yoke that frees us from self-inflicted nonsense (SIN). We declare and decree the blessing (the indwelling of the Holy Spirit) upon those who know that Your yoke is not a burden, so that; as we yoke ourselves with You, we will find eternal rest. Now, for the Kingdom and Glory of God, we petition, with anointing, in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior, Amen.
