The Hope of Eternal Life and Salvation
First-fruits Promise
1 Corinthians 15:19
If in Christ we have hope in this life only, we are of all people most to be pitied.
His Grace Makes Us Heirs to Eternal Life. Herein lies a revelation. Adam (as the genesis of man) brought spiritual and mortal death into this world. The Son of man (Jesus Christ), the manifestation of God, brought the resurrection. Paul is telling the Corinthians if you are mentally stuck with mortality, then you are to be pitied. The prize of the promise of God is not mortality but eternal life. In 15:18, Paul defines mortality with the Faith of believers who fall asleep in Christ; the flesh body perishes, it goes back to dust. In 15:19-23, we examine the context of our life inside the promise of God; that Christ rose from death and is the First-fruits of them that slept.
The indication of First-fruits equals the movement of those who establish the path from corruption to immortality. This transformation of mortal life to life eternal is the provision of His Grace, making us heirs to eternal life as the promise of God. If in Christ, we believe, trust in God’s Grace.
Omnipresent God —Psalm 139:7-12. Our God is everywhere—in and around everything, close to everyone. “‘Do not I fill heaven and earth?’ declares the Lord.” In this embrace of mortality, we pronounce our thanks with our whole heart. For the embracing of Your Word, we give our praise for the sacrifice of your Son, who Loves us and Gives Himself for us. We declare and decree heavenly blessings upon those who read your word and find comfort during the darkest hours so that; Your Light shines brightly in our souls and lifts our spirits. Now, for Kingdom and Glory of God, we petition, with anointing, in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior, Amen.
