Handling Disappointment

Psalm 55:22

Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.

The 55th Psalm is about betrayal from a friend and trusting in God. Suffering the treachery of a friend can be unsettling; it causes one to go into deep reflection or a full indulgence of grief. When we embrace the attitude that the Lord will fight our battles if we keep still (Exodus 14:14) is the omphalos of our walk-in Christ. Casting our burdens on the Lord is the quaesitum or answer to the problem of the flesh; let God do it!

Jehovah Ha-Melech, The LORD the King- Psalm 98:6; we thank You for Your provision. We come with praise dripping from our lips for the burdens You relieve us. We decree and declare the blessing (the indwelling of the Holy Spirit) who sees our treacherous friends and our feelings, so that; we who hear the Word follow after the Peace of God. Now, for the Kingdom and Glory of God, we petition, with anointing, in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.
