For Those Feeling Anxious
Anxiety can be crippling, but we can replace it with thankful prayers and thoughts and look to Christ for peace.
He Cares For Us
1 Peter 5:5-7
Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all [of you] be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble. Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
One of the issues with anxiety is where do you put it if you have a relationship with the Lord? The disorder of anxiety leads us into one-way streets going in the wrong direction, leading to opposition to the ways of Jesus Christ. Peter spoke these words of encouragement; cast all your disproportionate levels of care upon Him, the excessive nervousness, unnatural fear and apprehension, and worry. God knows who you are, and He cares for you.
Jehovah Mephalti, The LORD my Deliverer - Psalm 18:2; we thank you for allowing us to submit to You. We bring You the fountain of our praise for You care for us. We declare and decree the blessing (the indwelling of the Holy Spirit) who takes all our feelings and frees us, so that; we who cast our cares upon Him finds His care for us. Now, for the Kingdom and Glory of God, we petition, with anointing, in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.
