Jesus Words On Worry
Jesus talked about worry and anxiety more than a few times, and he reminds us of how much God loves us and how He can give us rest.
He Left Peace
John 14:26-28 (27)
But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.
The peace of Jesus is the Holy Ghost, who has instructions to teach us and bring all things into our remembrance, whatever He said to us. Our highlight of encouragement is here in the 27th verse. His Peace, the Peace of God, He gives to us. This Peace is the blessing of His Holy Spirit, our inheritance, the promise of Jesus as He paid the debt of our self-inflicted nonsense. Not a curse but His Peace He left for us with a seal from Heaven. The world can't give you peace because it has no peace. Can you appreciate the Peace of Jesus?
Jehovah Machsi, The LORD my Refuge - Psalm 91:9; we thank You Almighty God for the Comforter sent in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ. We praise You for the things which You spoke, and the same Spirit brings to our remembrance. We decree and declare the blessing (the indwelling of the Holy Spirit) upon those who received Your Peace, so that; we who accepted Your Peace by Your Spirit will not be troubled. Now, for the Kingdom and Glory of God, we petition, with anointing, in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior, Amen.
