Healing In The House of God - 4
1 Peter 4:17-19
For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear? Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.
The question is, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear? As described in Genesis 13:13, the sinners are people who refuse the gift and the blessing of the Lord; they turn into their own devices and desires. The consequences of the ungodly and the people who love sin are written in stone; it will not change (Psalm 1:5, 1 Samuel 15:18). The godly suffer as a reality buffer or a difference to self-inflicted nonsense and the mentality of believers (1 Peter 5:10, 2 Corinthians 1:3-4). So, where do the ungodly appear before the Lord? Where does the sinner appear before God? Where will you appear?
El Hakabodh, The God of Glory - Psalm 29:3; we thank you for being the God of Glory. We praise You for revealing to us who love you the judgment of the ungodly and the sinner. Therefore, we declare and decree the blessing (the indwelling of the Holy Spirit) upon those who know the Judgment of God by the Holy Ghost; so that, the fate of the ungodly and sinners will encourage the hearts of believers. Now, for the Kingdom and Glory of God, we petition, with the anointing of the Holy Ghost, in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior, Amen.
