Spiritual and Emotional Healing

Sin, abuse, neglect, rejection, betrayal all cause significant emotional and spiritual pain that hurt just as physical pain does. God, our Great Physician, can ultimately heal our broken hearts and bind our wounds, healing, and making us whole. Spiritual and emotional healing is often a process with steps that we need to put action behind. Use these scriptures to guide your heart and mind toward full recovery.

1 Peter 2:24

Who His own self bare our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

In this second installment of INRI, we look at the “b” part of this verse “we being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness.” Our participation with sin is to stop and allow God to take charge. Jesus selflessly gave Himself for our sins, and we who are dead in the spirit of sin live through righteousness. Romans 10:10, For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation. Is Jesus of Nazarene your King?

El Shaddai, Almighty God - Genesis 17:1-2; we thank You for being the Almighty God. We praise You for allowing us to die to our sin and to live in righteousness. We decree and declare the blessing (the indwelling of the Holy Spirit) upon those who believe unto righteousness, so that; we who confess salvation give ourselves to the King. Now, for the Kingdom and Glory of God, we petition, with anointing, in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.
