Oh, How He Loves Us

Troubled Times (COVID-19 pandemic series)

There are times in life that it feels like the future looks grim. These are significant scriptural passages on Hope to read from the Bible to lift you and encouraged you today.

Oh, How He Loves Us

Isaiah 12:1-3

And in that day thou shalt say, O LORD, I will praise thee: though thou wast angry with me, thine anger is turned away, and thou comfortedst me. Behold, God [is] my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH [is] my strength and [my] song; he also is become my salvation. Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.

Isaiah starts chapter 12 with the prevailing situation of our spiritual dysfunction, we have disappointed God, and yet He comforts us. God loves us despite our carnality; He lets it rain on the just and the unjust. We see hope in verse 2, where it is lifted as God is our salvation. Why should we fear or be afraid when Lord Jehovah is our strength, song, and salvation? Oh, how He loves us!

Indweller of Believers, Romans 8:9-11; Ephesians 2:21-22; 1 Corinthians 6:19. The Holy Spirit is the heartbeat of God’s people, and the indwelling of the Spirit is the distinguishing characteristic of the regenerated soul. From within believers, He teaches, directs, guides, comforts, and influences us, as well as producing in us the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23) and for this say daily, thank you. We stand amid the great cloud of witnesses and proclaim; oh, how You love us, and we praise you. We decree and declare the blessing (the indwelling of the Holy Spirit) upon those who look for water from the wells of salvation, so that; those that thirst for righteousness will have a drink of the water that saves souls. Now, for the Kingdom and Glory of God, we petition, with anointing, in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior, Amen.
