Rest In Salvation

Troubled Times (COVID-19 pandemic series)

Rest In Salvation

Isaiah 30:15

For thus saith the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel; In returning and rest shall ye be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength: and ye would not.

In verse 18, we find the conclusion of the matter; God said, wait! What we think when God has spoken is not consul but rubbage, a waste of time. When God speaks, all we have to do is pay attention and be still; not try and figure out an alternative or different strategy. When God says, we will be saved, be quiet, and take confidence. There is no need to panic when God speaks. What He says will be, that’s it, and that’s all!

Yahweh-Raah – The LORD My Shepherd, Psalm 23, and John 10. Jehovah Rajah. When we say “Lord,” we think of God’s deity. When we say “my Shepherd,” we think of God’s humanity. God in human form – Jesus Christ – prophesied in the Old Testament and revealed in the New Testament, and for this, we give thanks. For the rest that we receive in Salvation by obedience, we offer praise. We decree and declare a blessing upon those who obey the Voice of the Lord, so that; when the Word is spoken, there is no misunderstanding of the provision. Now, for the Kingdom and Glory of God, we petition, with anointing, in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior, Amen.
