The Absence of Pain

Romans 8:16-18

The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

Paul establishes our relationship with God on a plain that is higher than we have ever considered. To the Church in Rome, Paul explains the relationship of the Spirit. It is in the Spirit that we have liberty (2 Corinthians 3:17). In pain, we suffer from bondage (Isaiah 14:3). The connection we have with the Spirit of God is with our spirit and not our flesh (Romans 8:23). Only in the Spirit can we truly feel the freedom of liberty from pain. Does your spirit bear witness with the Spirit of God?

Sar Shalom, Prince of Peace - Isaiah 9:6; we thank You, Prince of Peace, deliverer of Peace. We praise You for Your Spirit, which is the True witness. We decree and declare the blessing (the indwelling of the Holy Spirit) upon those who bear witness of our relationship, so that; we who are the Children of God bear witness. Now, for the Kingdom and Glory of God, we petition, with anointing, in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior, Amen.
