The Future of Pain- 2
Revelation 21:1-4
And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
The theological statement of "no more sea" (Revelation 21:1, Luke 11:24) is immutable. The phrase has significance, but we woefully support it with an understanding of its meaning. Some speculate that the sea will be no more in the new earth (Isaiah 65:17-19 & 66:22, 2 Peter 3:10-13) as there will be no saltwater, sea creatures, or plant life. This type of solipsism or self-established theory is a practical example of eisegesis, the Bible's interpretation based on one's ideas. Does the absence of the sea affect your salvation?
Jehovah El Emeth, LORD God of Truth - Psalm 31:5; we thank You, Lord God of Truth for your perfected wisdom. We praise You for the establishment of Your Word concerning our future. We decree and declare the blessing (the indwelling of the Holy Spirit) upon those who see the exegesis of the Almighty, so that; we who praise Him will enjoy being the purpose of God. Now, for the Kingdom and Glory of God, we petition, with anointing, in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.
