The Healing Visit - 10

Jeremiah 15:15-18

O LORD, thou knowest: remember me, and visit me, and revenge me of my persecutors; take me not away in thy longsuffering: know that for thy sake I have suffered rebuke. Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts. I sat not in the assembly of the mockers, nor rejoiced; I sat alone because of thy hand: for thou hast filled me with indignation. Why is my pain perpetual, and my wound incurable, [which] refuseth to be healed? wilt thou be altogether unto me as a liar, [and as] waters [that] fail?

In this final portion of this segment of scripture for the "Healing Visit," we examine the final words of this prayer (Jeremiah 15:18). The question that impatient Jeremiah ends his prayer with is made from a position of doubt, 'will You be unto me as a liar (Psalm 77:10)? As a stream of unreliable water (Job 6:15)?' What a question for God, and it would be unfair to shift through this prayer without hearing His answer. Yes, God answers his prayer. What a painful prayer, what simulation, what an example, and there is a Word from the Lord. Will you hold your position with God unwavering?

El Sali, God, my Rock - 2 Samuel 22:47; we thank You, God, my Rock for the fortification in eternal life. We praise You for the revelation of emotion wrapped in our communication called prayer. Therefore, we decree and declare the blessing (the indwelling of the Holy Spirit) upon those who correct the acrimonious, abusive attitude of questioning Truth; so that, we who have breathed miasma, poison of unbelief from spreading. Now, for the Kingdom and Glory of God, we petition, with the anointing of the Holy Ghost, in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior, Amen.
