The Provisions of God -6
Philippians 4:10-13
But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly, that now at the last your care of me hath flourished again; wherein ye were also careful, but ye lacked opportunity. Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, [therewith] to be content. I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
Paul concludes this passage after telling us to rejoice in times of trouble; be strong when help seems to stop; be conscious of lost opportunities; respect the difference of want and need; learn to be content in whatever state you’re in; know how to be abased and when to abound; reflect on hunger and fullness; for in all of this “we can do all thing through Christ which strengthens us (Philippians 4:10-13).” 2 Corinthians 12:9 - says His grace is sufficient, and our strength is made perfect in weakness. The summation of all Paul taught to the Philippians while He was in prison is that “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me (Philippians 4:13). What can you do with Christ?
‘Ab, Father - Psalm 68:5; we praise you for releasing to us the position of being our Father. We praise You for the things empowered to us by Christ. We decree and declare the blessing (the indwelling of the Holy Spirit) upon those who learn what we can do all things through Christ; so that, we who lack strength will find it in Him. Now, for the Kingdom and Glory of God, we petition, with the anointing of the Holy Ghost, in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior, Amen.
