Understanding Temptation, 2

Spiritual and Emotional Healing

Sin, abuse, neglect, rejection, betrayal all cause significant emotional and spiritual pain that hurt just as physical pain does. God, our Great Physician, can ultimately heal our broken hearts and bind our wounds, healing and making us whole. Spiritual and emotional healing is often a process with steps that we need to put action behind. Use these scriptures to guide your heart and mind toward full recovery.

Understanding Temptation, 2

1 Corinthians 10:13

No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.

Do we question if God is faithful; then we test ourselves because we fail to be faithful (1 Corinthians 1:9, Hebrews 10:23). We engage a particular tautology of repeating with words instead of establishing Faith with deeds. God knows and understands the desire of our hearts, and if we listen, we will hear His voice with temperance (Romans 10:17). What can we bear? Epexegesis-we can handle whatever God allows (Hebrews 6:3)?

Elohenu Olam, Our Everlasting God - Psalm 48:14; we thank You for being our

Everlasting God. We praise You for You are Faithful. We declare and decree the blessing (the indwelling of the Holy Spirit) upon those who know the Faithfulness of God; so that, as we increase in our exousia, we manifest the strength of the Kingdom. Now, for the Kingdom and Glory of God, we petition, with the anointing of the Holy Ghost, in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior, Amen.
