Understanding The Answer Of Prayer

Hebrews 12:1-2

Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset [us], and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of [our] faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

When I think about a paradigm shift, the mental image of prayer pops up with a quaesitum lurking in my expectation. The answer to our petitions is progressive in accord with the Word of God. We say progressive because we strive toward the mark of the higher calling (Philippians 3:14). God answers all problems for His Glory, and the cloud of witnesses who see the God solution may not understand that it is a God solution because we must look to Jesus as the author and finisher of our Faith. SIN or self-inflicted nonsense is a weight that takes us out of balance with the Father and leans us to a side (be it right or left) but off the path of Jesus, who only leads us to the Father.

Jehovah Metsudhathi, The LORD My High Tower - Psalm 18:2; we exhort You for the gravity of this opportunity to say thank You for every blessing. We gather for Your Glory and to give You praise. We decree and declare the blessing (the indwelling of the Holy Spirit) upon those who cast their cares upon the Lord, so that; we who look to Jesus as the author and finisher of our Faith will deliver us from SIN. Now, for the Kingdom and Glory of God, we petition, with anointing, in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.
