When You Ask God
Psalm 27:4-5
One thing have I asked of the LORD, that will I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD and to inquire in his temple. For he will hide me in his shelter in the day of trouble; he will conceal me under the cover of his tent; he will lift me high upon a rock.
King David made a statement of confidence, that he may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of his life, to worship the Lord. God will hide you in His house and cover you with His protection, and He will keep you during your crisis. When we ask as His children, we are enacting from the position of assurance, but we have to ask. The bold will ask but have no right because they think they can fool God, but God is not fooled, and He does not reward the wicked for their foolishness. Know God, know peace, No God, no peace!
Holy Ghost, the Comforter —2 Corinthians 1:3,4. Jesus called the Holy Spirit the “Comforter,” and the apostle Paul writes that the Lord is “the God of all comfort” we must all give Him thanks for His kindness. For the unyielding hope that finds virtue in our time of crisis, we say in a spirit of oneness praise God. We declare and decree blessings upon those who live in the house of God, look upon Him for salvation, and are covered with His protection, so that; we are hidden from the spoiler, the pestilence, and disease that floods the world because we are lifted on the Rock of Jesus. Now, for the Kingdom and Glory of God, we petition, with anointing, in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior, Amen.
