My Beloved Son
The announcement by God stated that Jesus is His beloved son, "hear Him." When we hear Him what will we do? Will we answer the call? Will we listen to Him in our hearts? Will we bow down and worship Him? When God speaks everybody listens. In preparation for the celebration of His Death, Burial and Resurrection we are reminded that this is God's Son. Note, there are things that God does not want shared with the world until He is ready to reveal it.
Mark 9:2-10
And after six days Jesus taketh with him Peter, and James, and John, and leadeth them up into an high mountain apart by themselves: and he was transfigured before them. And his raiment became shining, exceeding white as snow;… And there was a cloud that overshadowed them: and a voice came out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him… And as they came down from the mountain, he charged them that they should tell no man what things they had seen, till the Son of man were risen from the dead. And they kept that saying with themselves, questioning one with another what the rising from the dead should mean.
The LORD the Judge (Judges 11:27), as we hear the voice of our God, we hear clearly what He says and for this we say thank You. We in obedience to Your Will recognize Jesus as Your beloved Son and for this we give You the praise. We decree and declare blessings for hearing the Living Word, so that when He is risen from the dead, all things will be revealed unto us who believe. For the sake of the Kingdom we pray, with an anointing in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.
