Sovereign Lamb
The announcement of the Sovereign Lamb is good news from Zion and we who have received this Gospel, see the Lord in all His power. This is the week before Jesus enters Jerusalem, and we call Him the Lamb, the Sovereign Lamb. He comes with a reward, and He gathers us as sheep and carries us close to His heart.
Isaiah 40:9
You who bring good news to Zion, go up on a high mountain. You who bring good news to Jerusalem, lift up your voice with a shout, lift it up, do not be afraid; say to the towns of Judah, “Here is your God!” See, the Sovereign LORD comes with power, and he rules with a mighty arm. See, his reward is with him, and his recompense accompanies him. He tends his flock like a shepherd: He gathers the lambs in his arms and carries them close to his heart; he gently leads those that have young.
O Zion, we thank you for the excellent news from the high mountain. We praise You for the lifted voices speaking of our God, His power, He rules with a mighty arm. We declare and decree blessings upon those who see the Sovereign Lord as the Master Shepherd; so that, we can become the lambs in His arms. Now, for the Kingdom and the Glory of God, we petition, with anointing in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior, Amen.
