The New Work
Jesus began a "new work," He began to work on His disciples for the time of His death was near. Jesus, as God knew what was coming, and He still went forward to minister to His disciples because He was setting the example of authentic leadership. During this season of Lent, we need not ponder on the significance of how or even why He gave Himself up for us, but we must understand that what He did He did for Love! Love what you do and do what you Love.
Matthew 16:21
From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day.
God of My Life (Psalm 42:8), grant us the grace to say thank You for making us the object of Your Love through Jesus. We honor Your goodness with songs of praise because You are the greatest. We decree and declare blessings for the season of Lent; so that, as we reflect on all that You have done for us, we will rejoice and be glad. Now, for Your Kingdom and the Glory of God, we petition with the anointing, the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior, Amen.
